About the Founder
Dr. Zachary Robbins
Dr. Zachary Robbins is an educator, former superintendent, award-winning principal, author, and the founder of AskZac.
He created AskZac to help educators handle the difficult situations that rarely come with simple answers: an angry parent email, a student who refuses direction, an administrator asking for documentation, an upcoming IEP meeting, or a decision that could affect a student, family, or teacher long after the moment has passed.
The idea behind AskZac
Educators do not just need help writing. They need help deciding what to say, what to do, what to document, and what should happen next.
Experience Grounded in Real Schools
Dr. Robbins has worked in education as a teacher, principal, district leader, and superintendent.
His leadership experience includes serving schools and districts with complex academic, operational, financial, behavioral, and community challenges. As a school leader, he has led improvements in graduation rates, student achievement, attendance, school culture, English learner outcomes, and discipline practices.
He was named the 2022 Nevada Secondary Principal of the Year.
His career has included leadership in large, diverse school communities, including schools serving high percentages of students experiencing poverty, multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and students who have historically been underserved by public education.
That experience shapes how AskZac approaches educator problems. The platform is designed to consider not only what sounds good, but also what is practical, professionally responsible, and appropriate within the realities of schools.
Why AskZac Was Created
Educators make hundreds of decisions every week. Many of the hardest decisions happen quickly and under pressure.
